“God-Realization…In My Eyes” by Tony Hanes #1/22/13

“God-Realization…In My Eyes” Vol. 4 Rough Draft

“God-realization, according to Indian guru Meher Baba, is the highest state of consciousness and the goal and ultimate destiny of all souls in creation. Ultimately the ego weakens through endless expression of itself in many lifetimes of experience, finally disappearing completely in full Self or God-realization.” *wikipedia

On the rock it stated
“Here resides the bed of a tired soul”

No more battles with Mother Nature
The wind blew
All walked away
Until everyone is at "Rest"

Before rest,
there is struggle.
On the "journey" to visit the most high,
we look back in disbelief.
Family members "wave"

Tears slowly fall,
and melt into "yesterday".

The "grave" marks the cave of dreams.

Now,
he is one with the most high.
I sigh;
knowing one day it will be my turn.
I laugh,
because we use to laugh together,
now forever,
is really "forever".

Carved on another lonely rock,
were the words...
“In My Eyes God is Real”...

I slowly got into the car,
humbled with a depleted ego.
Until we meet again,
I will visit you my friend,
on these quiet grounds,
bonding us "Eternally",
bonding us until "God wins".

The End

"Guiding Light" by Shawna Tate #1/10/2013

Guiding Light

Over distant lands and many seas,
your love guided me to shore.
I conquered rough surf and anomalies,
I couldn’t love you more.

My battle ship set sail ages ago,
 to find Utopia’s land.
I saw your light and to it I rowed,
 until I reached the sand.

So every night since,
I anchored my hull unto your island edge.
I close my eyes, breath you in,
and my love for you I pledge.

To never hoist my sail to sea,
stay with you for each sunset.
Ship permanently docked,
waves calm and eased,
our souls have finally met.
So my mast is full, my travels done,
no more time at sea.
I sail no more in search of love,
because you belong to me.

“Distant Hearts” By Shawna Tate #1/16/2013

“Distant Hearts”

 By Shawna Tate #1/16/2013

Over many miles and many expansive seas,
I’ll travel any distance to be by your side.
Through tough terrain, cross foreign countries,
I long to see your BEAUTIFUL smile.

From the top of “Kilimanjaro”,
 from now into tomorrow,
our matching souls shall meet.

Distant lands, unfamiliar speech,
through alien nations,
and foreign topography.
Transverse deserts, climb mountain peaks,
I leave behind “ALL” my fear.

From Antarctica freeze to Bahamas’ breeze,
I’ll run straight to you my dear.
By “Ship” by “Air” by “Foot” by “Beast”,
I’ll go from shore to shore.
After traveling the earth to find my peace,
I’ll “love” you forever more…

“Why We Live” by Tony Hanes 1/15/2013

“Why We Live” by Tony Hanes 1/15/2013

Born into existence, I embrace life with persistence.
Not knowing where each road may go,
I ride the highway,
hoping my tires don’t explode.
Without fearing snow, I push the gas,
fighting against possible storms,
and challenges that approach.
“Why We Live”, is a mission worth travel.

Trying to unravel secrets,
hidden between  evolution and the bible,
ignite debates with those who have questions,
 swiftly becoming rivals.
With no answers in sight,
idol God’s continue to fight.
We attempt to figure out “Why We Live”,
by challenging others Civil Rights.

Driving towards various exits on this Earth,
my birth is what I search.
Sliding down hills of enlightenment,
I feel my spirits heighten.
To be or not to be is the question,
At night, I study my lessons.
On this date, I received some blessings,
contemplating on “Why We Live”.

Now the new day has come,
at times I knew I had to run.
In this life you’re never done,
“until” your done.
Fun is breathing and sharing your genes.
Things aren’t always what they seem.
“Why We Live” is not a dream,
but a reality and a puzzle.
People will judge you,
and force you to struggle.
Stay strong and appreciate your worth.
We all die and return to dirt,
and the earth.
We all do not live though,
some forfeit their very breath.
I plan to live until no life is left.

"Euphoria”: εὐφορία (Part 3: Final Resting Place) by Tony Hanes 1/15/13

"Euphoria”: εφορία (Part 3: Final Resting Place) by Tony Hanes

Doctors exit the room as I reflect,
on a life almost complete.
I sink deeper into tomorrow,
Knowing that today brings sorrow.
I borrowed a piece of happiness to share,
Now I stare at yesterday with a smile.
Flowers filled the room,
but I’m prepared for the green mile.

You said you would always be there,
So I prepared my last will and testament,
for one who was heaven sent.
Clutching my hand ever so tight,
we know this is our final night.
I have a flight to catch with the father.
Don’t bother shedding a tear or fear,
where my ride may end.
Just know you appeared,
During a time when love wasn’t near,
or dear.

25 years you gave me peace.
As each sunrise approached,
our passion increased.
There is no way to measure,
the time we spent together.
I was the soft one,
You were tougher than leather.
There is no place I’d rather be,
Than have you sit next to me.
My plea,
Is that you find happiness again,
or a friend.

Your face still resembles the fountain of youth.
Other soldiers will approach your fortress.
I’m not jealous; your heart must be mended,
not tortured.
It’s ok; we shared "Euphoria" for 9,125 Moons.
I’ll be gone soon,
but with you forever.
We all have an expiration date.
With fate, we all run out of time.
Remember each day that we loved,
It’s now my flat line.

“Euphoria”: εὐφορία (Part 2: Coronation) by Tony Hanes #1/14/13

“Euphoria”: εφορία (Part 2: Coronation)

As darkness penetrated the nest,
an Eclipse invaded our place of rest.
The test was to be “Crowned” best.
A “Coronation” for your new “King” who stood proud,
after the effects of a red light special,
that put Elizabeth in a coma-like state,
I know we are blessed.
Foggy mirrors reflected victory,
an altered mind set.
I honor to protect this castle from whatever evils,
to my very last breath, even death.

At this time there is life, a gift from the creator.
Humble beginnings make this inauguration,
one for the ages.
The trumpet blows from Clergy,
 that overlook this occasion.
Two white horses are presented.
My eyes squinted as I viewed the crowd,
making sure no soul would question this union.
If so, “thy blade” would deny false tongues,
who dare challenge this chivalry.
Next to me, the Queen glazed the scenery with grace.

As the gates opened, even the poor threw tokens,
acknowledging the throne.
We have a Prince in training and a plan to expand,
our bloodline.
I find,
it necessary to always prepare for War.
Still,
I adore this moment.

The savior vowed to protect us but,
my blade remains steady.
I’m ready, to bleed for thy love.
In Centuries to come,
they will pass down stories about us.
Lust has been defeated,
as we established a new dynasty of trust.
Countrymen will echo “Your Highness”,
to the Tudors that follow in History.
The mysteries of life are patched with a kiss.
As darkness invade our place of refuge,
we marinate in bliss.

“Euphoria”: εὐφορία (Part 1) 1/10/2013 by Tony Hanes

“Euphoria”: εφορία
(Part 1)

With an enchanted state of mind,
I seek nirvana in the arms of one who embrace Paradise.
Tonight I wait for an angel,
that descended from the Heavens to save me.
A state of grace where I place my faith,
Not knowing if these feelings are crazy.

Sanity remains an enemy,
for those who think like us.
I trust a future of εφορία,
it's happiness that I lust.
Consciousness is often overlooked,
as reason drowns in lakes of contentment.
Barely keeping my head above water,
lucid dream(s) of living with no resentment.

As I stroll down the yellow brick road,
wings slowly lift feet that walked,
now I fly, so we glide together.
Heart’s pumping, almost ready to explode,
Now we reside, forever.
I rode her love,
until we reached pearly gates,
greeted by doves and falling feathers.

With a “Ring” in hand I waited for GOD,
these vowels he’ll help us repeat.
All of our family stood around,
my words will never retreat.
Beneath my soul and soil that made me,
I hope we share a seed.
With power so devoutly invested within “US”,
I know we’ll grow a “Tree”.
The leaves will blow for all to know,
my words you can believe.
 I pledged,
The leaves will blow for all to know,
my words you can believe.
εφορία

“Beautiful Struggle“ by Tony Hanes 1/8/2013

                         ....Beautiful Struggle...
We woke up to a sensual sunrise,
as the tide started to subside,
our dreams began to collide.
Beside me, there is hope.
Within ecstasy, we “still” strive for more.
I never knew love like this before.

This is a beautiful struggle,
no more pain will you ever have to juggle.
I've learned to recover as well,
true passion has allowed me to exhale.
To experience the "definition" of life,
destroys any doubt in my soul.
We stand bold,
not knowing what the future my hold.
Finding you, I know I struck “Gold”.

Melting within your kiss,
the “beautiful struggle” continues.
Thirsty for you, I drink the nectar of joy,
not one "drop" is missed.
Our menu of elation,
make others around us jealous.
“They” can’t understand THIS,
Most can’t fathom the deepness of "sure" BLISS.

So, I fight the "beautiful struggle",
trying to wrap my head around this intensity.
Attempting to believe,
that you really "happened" to me.
I see nothing move around us,
we are caught in the matrix.
Two characters molded from ancient stanzas,
living forever on poetic pages.
